Ben Johnson opened with a confession: he had not given a speech since high school, about 25 years earlier, and that one was on Juliet's line, "What is in a name?" His point was the opposite of Juliet's. The name Dream Power, he said, carries an intention. What he was about to share in facts and figures, he said, would show that the company's intentions and actions line up.
Johnson, regional manager for Shenzhen Dream Power Technology, spoke at Mining Disrupt Fort Lauderdale, recorded March 25–27, 2025. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, sells mining hardware wholesale and runs mining sites of its own. He called it a direct bridge to China's technology backbone and an infrastructure partner for long-term scale. The slides ran on a timer, he warned, so they would not always match his words; at one point the company's MicroBT and Bitmain award came up out of turn.

A Name With an Intention
His short version, for anyone without twenty minutes to listen: Dream Power is a full-scale industrial Bitcoin mining provider. It sells ASICs wholesale, and it also owns and operates infrastructure.

Johnson described Dream Power as an award-winning VIP sales channel for Bitmain and MicroBT. That status, he said, gets the company invited to the manufacturers' closed-door strategy summits, and gives its customers early access to new hardware, optimized pricing and smarter planning.

The YellowBe Miner and Its Pitch to AI Data Centers
Bitcoin was the core business, but Johnson spent time on one product: the YellowBe, an Ethereum Classic miner he said was co-developed with Yang Zuoxing, who designed Bitmain's Antminer S7 and S9 and today chairs MicroBT. The machine can mine ETC alongside a second coin and be reprogrammed for others. Johnson pitched it to AI and machine learning data centers, where he said return on investment can stretch to eight to ten years; a compliant miner in the same facility, he argued, earns from day one.

The YellowBe, he said, delivers 6,300 megahashes of Ethereum Classic hashrate in a 2U server drawing 1,600 watts, runs on independently developed chips and a Linux-based operating system, and is built to meet data center compliance standards.
The Chairman and the Cooling
Johnson also spoke for the company's chairman, Keith Su, who was in Shenzhen at a summit of a university alumni alliance where he serves as executive chairman.

Su's ties to universities and government, Johnson said, speed up what the company delivers. Dream Power is a corporate member of a university alumni alliance of 328 institutions and helped found an AI and computing power institute with Nanjing University in Shenzhen, which he said gives partners early access to research. He also listed the chairman's giving: a 100,000 renminbi donation to a county education program in January 2025, schools and clean water in his home village in Guangdong, and scholarships for rural students.
The company's three mining centers, he said, run proprietary immersion cooling developed in collaboration with Dr. Yang and MicroBT.

Johnson said the company is known for fine-tuning ASICs through precision overclocking, pushing hashrate higher without shortening hardware life, and that its dielectric immersion fluid extends hardware lifespan by up to 30% while keeping out dust and corrosion. Its AI power management system, he said, adjusts power use to live workload demand, tunes cooling in real time and uses predictive analytics to keep operations stable. It is the same stack Dream Power runs in its own data centers.
Dream Miner, the company's research division and its online hardware sales and service platform at dreamminer.net, runs six production laboratories staffed by 30 engineers and 50 electronics technicians, he said, and works with MicroBT on supply.
From $150 Home Miners to $150 Million Buildouts
Johnson gave the company's numbers: more than 175,000 units of mining and HPC equipment delivered to over 7,000 customers, $150 million in revenue the previous year, three mining centers of its own with immersion cooling and AI power management, and offices in North America, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia and the UAE. Its customers, he said, range from someone spending $150 on a home miner through its Dream Miner site to $150 million-plus industrial buildouts.
He closed by inviting the room to booth 155 to review specs and model returns, and signed off with the company line: the Dream brings power. "This isn't a pitch," he said. "These are the outcomes."
